The company has recently designed and manufactured a didactic clock for Shepshed High School in Leicestershire and fitted it to the schools' four meter stainless steel obelisk.
The theme is time and the obelisk is reminiscent of a gnomon found at the centre of a sun dial. The clock itself consists of over 1000 LEDs arranged in a coded sequence of rectangular panels.
The clock is an acknowledgment of the late Dieter Binninger's work on the world's first didactic clock which was erected in Berlin 1975.
The Berlin clock no longer exists except as miniature replicas, which makes Shepshed School's clock unique. (The time displayed in the small photograph to the bottom left is 15:13)
